the bottle is a resevoir for the fluid that is sucked out.
If you want the super simple version of this, just hook a vacuum line to the bleeder screw directly. You might end up with a small bit of fluid in your intake, but that should be harmless. The longer the hose, the less fluid. If the volume of the hose is greater than the clutch master resevoir, no fluid will make it to the intake. But yeah, this approach works great. |

Im not risking putting brake fluid into my intake. The stuff doesnt compress.
Anyone with a grasp for this stuff can easily improve on my initial design. I have chaned it about 4 times since, by using a metal can (actually I use an oil catch can now), and I connect it to a check valve so it can only move air one direction, and I connect it to a bleeder valve I can turn on and off, and I do use my engine to do it now. |
