I would definatly add a lip around the hole! Something that stood up above the ground by a couple of inches. It will save you from having to tell us that you came home after partying all night and drove it into the pit!

Id be so worried of accidentally driving a corner of my car off that damn thing when backing up or driving over it.
You dont look like yo have a whole lot of margin of error on that thing. |

Not gonna lie man, when I first saw this thread I didn't expect you to get very far into this project before filling it all in and giving up.
Good work. +1000 on the lip idea. |

Epic.
Whats the total cost? I wanted to build a pit at one point, but decided that a lift would be more, er, mobile. +1 for vote for best thread. There were bodies, a pit, and pure defiance of people on the board telling you not to do it (Respect for that one, some people are just party poopers) |

Wow, I didn't see the remains pictures... in the States if you found something like that in your backyard you'd be up to your balls in archeologists and state officials telling you that your backyard is now property of the United States Government.

I think we all expected this thread to end in a horrible disaster? I laughed at the idea, I teared up half way through, I crapped my pants after seeing the skulls, and now I'm amazed that it turned out fantastic. Good work.
