Vinal or Paint?

I'm not into flashy!

However........my project S14 (Nissan 240SX) is about to get off of the ground and it is by far the UGLIEST S14 ive ever seen....something needs to be done!

Meanwhile, my friend and his father own a sign and awning shop, and he offered to give me a deal if we vinal'd the car (i believe it was about $5/sq ft)

Plans for the S14 are basically going to be a drift car/track slut. It is already gutted, it just needs better coil-overs and a stronger differential before i begin focusing on the motor. Hence, its already pretty ghetto, but I would like it to at least look clean (i figured I would get a low-key body kit with a bigger front air dam while I was at it)

Is Vinal worth it, or is it a pain in the neck? Should I just get a normal paint job? I know at least some of you have experience with vinal...just looking for input

Just go get a spray gun and some cheap ass paint. You should be able to make it look halfway decent that way.

vinyl is cool because you can just take it off them an change it whenver you want, paint is cool because it doesnt look like vinyl, its really shiny an all that cool stuff, i doubt you can make it look pretty nice if you were to just paint it yourself but then again its a track/drift car so yeah i would just rock it the way it is a wreck it a few times then worry about that, because if you're drifting your also wrecking, it come with the category,
