Not sure if it will get rid of the fading, but I use Lemon Pledge. It does the job and isn't greasy at all and makes the inside smell lemon fresh!

Back to Black is Mothers.
Anyways, as for the interior. Fading is Fading. You can re-dye it, or hide it. Products like Armor All such and soak into the material, and from an upholsterers standpoint...It makes re-doing panels a pain. It take a lot more work to prep them... That being said...Armor All and all those type products will hide the fading when you use them. They also give the greasy look, etc...When I detailed we referred to that stuff as crap and almost never used it. However, if an Interior was really bad, an interior protectant like that would really help hide the fading and make the interior look pretty good again. Sometimes te interior was badly faded and thats all the customer wanted, so thats what you had to do. Some interiors were gone enough, it was either that or re-dye it. Spray it on a nice terry cloth applicator and wipe on. |
