Best wax for protection?

I am going to be moving to Arizona next month and im taking my car with me, i was looking for suggestions for a good wax. The shine is not as important to me as protection from the sun. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd highly recommend NXT 2.0. This is a synthetic sealant that holds up much better to the heat than a carnauba wax. Carnauba will begin to evaporate at 160°F which is easy to reach on painted surfaces in the hot AZ sun.

NXT 2.0 has a great reflective shine and lasts a long time too. On my cars, I follow-up with Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer (UQD) after every wash to keep the surface slippery and shiny.

Be sure to invest in a good windshield shade and use it regularly to keep your interior from fading and deteriorating.

ok, thanks for the tips. I have a good shade for the windshield, and i also have a carpet like dashboard cover that was in the car when i bought it. I also plan to get all the windows tinted and that should help with the interior also.
