Detailing your MR2 Tint

Is there any better way of takinig your tint off other than peeling it and using a razor?

Is there a special way that the pros use or any kind of product that i can use to take it off.

Yeah.. one of those steam thingy... I forgot what its called. Very similar to the ones you see on TV infomercials to clean stuff.

its somthing to do with ammonia and geting the adhesive to fail.

I've personally seen it with the steamer but I did hear about the amonia long before I've seen the steamer meathod..

Try googling it or maybe even on youtube.

I used some tint off and a razor, it slide right off with little to no effort. The tint removal stuff dries pretty quickly though, so you have to make sure to keep the window wet. Also, be sure you're applying pressure to the proper side of the razor blade, else you might cut your thumb open...

ive used a heat gun (blow dryer will work) and just peel back slowly and clean the residue with wax and grease remover. the wax and grease remover you can find in the autobody section of your local automotive store.if you have alot of residue left use a mild steel wool with the wax and grease remover.
