No. You need a paint cleaner or a polish.

You might want to check if your dealing with a original OEM clearcoat deteriation or maybe a recent Earl Scrieb paint with no sealer.
If your messing with just paint a rubbing compound might bring results.(GR8MR2) If you have a clearcoat problem it's a different set of fixes. Dude, keep that bleach away from you and the car, it's a real real bad corrosive chemical. |

Try a clay bar and see what kind of results you get.

Don't do it. It will not make your car whiter. Try polishing it, I like this stuff Meguiar's Direct Show Car Glaze - |

I have/Had the same problem i got my Mr2 about 2 months ago. After having a couple of new vehicles i was used to that glassy shine. Mr2 seemed to be having some problems so this is what i did.First was the car and rinse thoroughly. I first used Meguiars Clay bar over the whole car. Worked great. When using this product the key is to let the clay bar do the work no need for lots of pressure on the clay just be through and consistent. When doing this do not drop the clay bar on the ground as it will pick up whatever is on the ground. Also be sure to knead the clay so you can use a clean side of the clay. Next i used meguiars NXT tech 2.0 wax. 2 coats and she started to feel glossy again. Hope this Helps

Yeah I think it has to do more with the color of the paint, and the fact that whites tend to turn a bit yellow over time. No amount of polish can fix that. No one will notice though, your car looked pretty good
