who wants a cheap 3sgte in atl area??

Not %100 sure on current condition but I know I need to do something before I completely waste this engine. To make a long story short, this engine was opened up to replace a piston, that was 4-5 months ago, the engine is still opened, timing is not set but engine (new components inc.) is all there...I can't find a fail-safe way to set the timing without pulling the motor so I'm at the point where I want to try to sell the motor and at least finish the shell (widebody install). The engine itself has about 140,000 miles on it, turbo is ct26.

I'm willing to sell engine, tranny, wiring harness and anything else I would not need with a V6 swap...make any offers, ask any questions, shipping can be arranged but local p/u is prefered.

thought i'd throw out there too; whole car up for $3500, pics in member garage. would take half that for the engine-t, trans, harness, etc.

am i asking too much, not enough?? honestly no idea what this is worth, i'd like to get rid of it at a good price to the buyer but don't want to completely give it away.

would make a good builder block or cheap NA upgrade

price is kinda of steep considering the body work and its current state. Did you ever get the car actually running?

picture is once again OLD, very old, left side body is nearly complete, car is sitting on flush 18x9.5's and 18x8.5's...car ran fine, been to several local meets/runs.

car has not been rewired, or had the timing set since the head gasket and piston was replaced, but car was driven into the garage with no problems.

transmission issues have all been fixed as well, flywheel had broken a bolt and caused transmission problems...replaced stock fw with fidenza(sp) with ARP fasteners.

REAL MR2 knowledge (not what i have), air tools and 3-4 hours and this car will run, i'm just out of time and money and lack the knowledge to get my car running...i've tried getting help getting it running but just can't figure it out...but mechaniclly it's still all there

$1000 for engine WITHOUT transmission...

the only big downer on this motor is that it really needs to be pulled to get the timing belt/cam timing set correctly, you buy the motor, it gets pulled, timing set and it's perfect to go...

Two questions:

Is the tranny LSD or no? I am looking for a functional non-LSD unit.
If that is the case, and you are willing to sell it separately, what do you want for it? I am in Knoxville, TN, but it's no trouble for me to pop down on a weekend and collect it.

nope you'd have to open it up unless you have the VIN number(engine or tranny). TOyota can tell you.
