i'm pulling it out of the duluth shop as soon as i get assurance that he can do it, we've been PMing behind the scenes but i'm under the impression that he's quite the busy man himself...i sent more PM's but haven't heard from him in a week, but if he really can do it i'd love to throw him some cash and get the thing moving again.

i need a timing belt put on the cam gears...it doesn't take 15 hours, i've told them "i could figure out the wiring myself if they could just get my cams and timing correct" , he said "ohhh, ok i'll go look at it again, and call you tomorrow (it was lunch time...more bs) i though you were in the middle of a swap" ...that was last friday, 6 days ago. they are just scared of MR2 now because they think they are going to run into 1,000,000 more problems, and for some reason they still think i am in the middle of a swap. THE SWAP WAS DONE, THE CAR RUNS. i've been sending them a fax now, i'll just keep doing this everyday until i hear from somone...i call and i get put on what seems like a permahold (5-10 minutes) so the fax works better for my schedule and mood. welcomed or not, THANK YOU for letting me vent/log this PITA. i've got many choice words once i'm able to take off work to get up to the shop again. |

...also calls for the motor to be removed, i've been told by several people that pulling the engine makes it a lot easier but it not %100 required. but even if it's 45784309758934075890435 hours it'd be damn nice if they could just call and tell me that, autho the work and DO IT...they have NEVER called me...EVVVAR
i've gotten more status on my car from their OTHER mr2 customer than the shop itself-PATHETIC...and the car has been sitting in the same spot, outside ,for 2 months now - rusting away. i feel like an idiot for telling my brother that i may just drive the mr2 to thanksgiving dinner...so much for "it'll just take us a week or two" |

...took a personal half-day off work and went over this morning to talk to them. he gave the same line of bs about "i will look at it today and call you by the end of business today"...and of course no f'n call.
its to the point where i'm about to raise royal hell on this place, i signed nothing when i dropped off my car, they have no vehicle anti-responsibility disclaimers posted anywhere... |

plus i use AAA for towing and that makes it more of a pain...i personally feel that THEY OWE ME a tow if they aren't going to do the work. but now the ****ass is acting like they really want to do the work but it's going to be a 30+ hour job to put a timing belt on. ...and now i'm "missing" a cam gear...convenient for them huh?? Dude its not that hard. Call the shop tell them what you need done to it. TErry the own will take care of it. You call the tow truck and tell them where it needs to go. Bam never have to leave work. Even if so there shop is open from 8-5 mon-sat. And there not going to charge you over what the labor book says. 30hrs is jsut crazy. I would put my car on it that you wouldnt get screwed and would be very happy

but even in your perfect world i'm still paying out the ass for any AAA towing over 20 or 25 miles. i would much rather get the work done without having to move the car again, but i think r2b2 takes one look at my car (widebody in progress with one person working alone on it) then they run off to throw rims on a bently or play with the corvettes. i feel as if i'm being taken advantage of because of my cars appearance and my age (23 y/o who looks 16)...then i feel like a bitchy customer when i think that...i want to scream, this is so stressing. |

So where is the good shop in the Acworth/Woodstock area? Don't need them just yet, but may later.
