If you need somebody to work out the wiring on an NA to turbo swap, I've done a few.

Where in Atlanta are you located?

Most likely I'd be cheaper than $600, unless somebody already tried to wire it.

Probably a lot cheaper if nobody has spliced into it yet.

there is still this principal that someone you've done business with for almost 10 years could treat me a little better when i'm just sitting on my ass throwing cash at them trying to get some work done on my car...i knew chris a. before but other than that the shop was a shot in the dark as far as a reputation went, i just can't seem to hit **** and i'm tired of waiting...when i dropped the car off he told me they were 2-3 weeks out and then it would take 2-3 days, this was OVER a month and a half ago. i don't want to just sit here and bash this shop but also; my mr2 would be the second one they've worked on and the first one is sitting on the lift now, also i got an estimate of 3-4 hours and now that has gone to 10+ because they want to pull the motor to wire it...certianlly nothing against you smith, just wanting to get this thing running, its just been sitting for OVER a year and i trusted a shops general timeframe and price for getting it done and its turning out further and further from where we started and the car just sitting is making me sick...not to mention the expedition i am driving now is slowly losing its transmission.
a little rant sorry

but anyhow, back to the post , i need a good ESTABLISHED and REPUTABLE shop that can do some work for me if anyone knows anything, closer to lawrenceville/athens the better.

I was told you needed a lot more than wiring and tuning.... They were telling me that yours would prob take longer than mine... but who knows.

The MR2 guy was injured really bad in a car accident. He still isnt back. They had to hire a new guy a week ago. My car just sat up there for 2 weeks only needing a few more things... if i wouldnt have to wait so long for parts, it woulda been done a long time ago.

i know you want yours done quick and like i said before, nothing against you bro. but you still can't ignore the fact that yours has been there for 3 months and all your parts still aren't there, while my car is sitting with all the parts already installed and just needs wiring and timing. to me its like putting off an oil change to do a restoration. i'm in a shop all day, it just doesn't seem like the way it should have worked. i'm going to go by today and talk to them about this face-to-face, i don't see much point in going on and on about it here.

that brings us to now...anyone know of any good mr2 shops around the atlanta area??

Travis is the only one there i know of that can do the wiring... but i dont know for sure. Dunno when he'll be back. He was the one in that accident. My car sat in the same spot yours did for 3 weeks because of a Turbo swap in an MR2 before mine.

Tom isnt there today... sure u can talk to Chris. I think he is there today

Ya man, if it's just wiring, Doug's the guy. He wired my V6 and a NA/Turbo swap, and a Gen3 turbo swap for me. You won't find anyone better with wiring projects.

I actually can't find anyone...period.

Car was sitting in a closed garage for over a year with weekly mists of WD-40, now it's SAT OUTSIDE in the rain then sat some more at a shop by Gwinnett place mall for 2.5 months and I'm sure I've got a sweet rust collection going by now...but all this for them to try to tell me that they don't really want to work on it now.

can someone point me in the direction of ANYONE who can put a f'n timing belt on???

so for the record, R2B2 in Duluth does quite horrible business...they are making this as much of a pain in the ass as possible- i'm assuming in hopes that i will just come pick up my car and they will not have to work on it. They are just now pulling this card and the car has just been sitting there for 2 MONTHS!! ...that for a 3-4 hour labor estimate, and I've had to tell them FOUR TIMES what I was needing done.

this is such a headache...i'm a body man and i'll i want is to work on that widebody, but it's nearly impossible to do with crap like this. i bought the car to do the bodywork and i haven't touched it in a year and a half.

so does anyone know of any shops or anyone who can AND WILL actually work on this car?? the body is a bit hidious/humorious to most, but the mechanicals are all there.
