Feb 9th North Georgia Meet

The date is Saturday, February 9th.

The plan:

Alpharetta to CloudlandCanyon State Park.

We'll meet about 9 am and plan to have lunch in the park. The group shelter in the park is an indoor facility so the weather is not critical.

All are welcome, even if your MR2 is not available.

Expenses:
group shelter: $110 for use of the building for the day.
Food: hot dogs / burgers / salads, I can pre-buy from the wholesale club. About $10 a person.

I'm happy to lay out the funds but depending on how many people we'll need to split the cost. Obviously, the more people, the lower cost per person.

20 people = $15.50 per person
10 people = $21 / person
5 people = $32 / person

talk about a nice day for a ride through the mountains!!!!

21 vehicles have said they will come, realistically probably about 1/2 that number.

If you haven't already, please let me know one way or another so I can have enough food!

I have 13 confirmed vehicles and 3 maybes. That's out of 26 that responded. Please don't let not responding keep you from coming at the last minute, the more the merrier!

Hey, thanks alot Jeff for getting us all together. I had a blast and def. would like to get together again.

Maybe Nopi.........

Me and some friends will be registering our cars this year at NOPI; It would be bad ass if we could get those MK1's in the competition due to the lacking of Mr2s withing the whole Lot. Plus, I rarely see Mk1's there at all.

Guys, I had a great time!

Thanks to all who participated. We had 25 people and 14 vehicles that participated all the way through, another 3 vehicles that showed up for parts of the event. It was nice to see some folks reunite and a lot of new friends were made.

All the cars were great! The MK1s were in the minority but heck, we got to lead most of the trip!

Sounds like folks want to go to the track next time so unless someone else volunteers to organize, I'll start looking into it!
