atlanta and suburbs info, where the rich people at

hey, looking at expanding our family bussiness and our product usually does well in the affluent areas. i was thinking of coming up there to check things out. I've only been up there to buy an mr2 and see the local sights (six flags/stone mountain) I'm looking for a good place to get a warehouse that is going to be central to distribution area.

when i've been up there before northern area of atlanta looks wayyyy better than southern. areas i'm interested in are:

uber rich
affluent
middle income
country clubs/TPC
Vacation areas for people from in and out of town
Popular weekend areas

If the area has household incomes of less than 50,000 it tends to be a poor area to sell in. Areas where new subdivisions are growing and still selling (florida nothing is selling) are good targets for our market as well.

Please let me know if i come up i will be brining the mr2 to check things out. thanks for any info you can give.

The richest area of Atlanta is going to be the Buckhead, Sandysprings, Dunwoody, and Vinings areas. Basically, where GA400 and I285 intersect, go 10miles north, 7miles east, 7miles west, and 20 miles south (all the way to downtown), and this is going to be the richest area of the city.

As a broad generalization, the better areas in Atlanta can be found north of I-20.

You can probably get better rates on warehouse leases south of town, but there is a good bit of space available out peachtree industrial/buford hwy, which is northeast of the city.

yeah i havent decided on the locale on the warehouse, it doesnt really matter that much i guess, probably would be ease of getting to the customers would be my main concern, then cost. We dont sell anything that is easily stolen but i dont want to be in the ghetto.
