i saw this G35 in person yesterday!!! he has since changed the rims, and replaced the intake plenum with the newer rounded version and removed all the plastic in the engine bay. looks effing sexy

Hello all you know me as lsgheero here on the board. I am the owner of the 1988 Toyota Mr2 that was chosen for sponsorship by GSS Powdercoating.

Below is pictures of my car and a little history as well.

*The story of my 88*
I purchased my car in late April 2007. The engine was totaled the car had major body damage and was in desperate need of a good paint job. I have since replaced the engine (ordered a rebuilt block from a local engine shop that had *according to the shop owner I have never actually confirmed this however the shop owner is a friend of mine and I feel I can trust him* been built up for racing. Because of this information I had the head ported and polished.) In July 2007 my 88 came to life again. I have recently (march 2008) had the car repainted. Since I run a local company I have badged my car with the companies information. We use this car as a source of advertising by attending car shows. We attend around 1-2 car shows a week if we can. Sadly we have yet to win a show but are hoping to change that with GSS's powdercoating .

About the car:

-Engine-

rebuilt block with high comp pistons (prepped for racing was what I was told and received that explanation when I asked more)

New Paint (same as original Toyota Super Red II Code 3e5)
Painted all the (trim/mirror/door handles) Flat Black
Factory SawBlade Rims (I have never seen these on another Mr2) *Painted semi-gloss black, this may change as I will most likely be getting these powdered*
Stock Body (not a fan of kits)
Scrap yard door (original was dented in)
I had the bodyshop fix a minor ding on the drivers rear quarter panel and a small crack in the wing.

-Interior-
Stock Everything aside from the below
shift boot (was on order missing from the above photos)
After market Head unit (panasonic, had a pioneer but it was stolen)
Pioneer speakers throughout including the rears
Working Factory Sub woofer (thanks to muffin man for helping my figure out the wiring)

small update here.....

I've been working extremely long hours to try and stay ahead of all the powdercoating orders we've had. here are a couplpe teaser pics of the AW11 parts. i started coating the K20 but because of the shows that he attends, i was on a time constraint to get everything done. he'll be back soon to finish coating and let us take some pictures.

also, the red eclipse is no longer being sponsored. instead, the same person will be bringing his sw20 to the show and everything in his bay will be powdercoated in extreme chrome, inlcuding his T67 kit!!! it's looking pretty nice so far.

without further ado, here are a few teaser shots of the aw11 parts. in a little while, i'll be posting pics of his 24k gold plated throttle wheel and bracket
