I am definitely interested in an oem-look version. $100 would not bother me in the least, and if necessary I will fab my own 52mm circular vent. Please update when they're available for sale/group buy.

nice work.

Yea, not to knock any other board members, but someone was selling a pannel that you would have to cut out your vents yourself and glue and blend it in, and sold that pannel for like $60 or something. I'd pay an extra $40 for an entire replacement part, which is of AWESOME quality from what I've seen so far!

wow!! that's alot of interest!! thanks a bunch buddy. i'm still trying to fab up the a/c block offs so that is pretty much the hold up here. once i establish the full quantity of parts that are required for the block off i will either "A" include everything with the kit for a small nominal fee, or "B" post a list and a how-to thread and keep the price of the kit much cheaper.

as soon as i get confirmation from my fabricator that production has started AND i have finished the solution to the block off aparatus, I will post a new thread for the group buy and start taking orders.

edit: i neglected to mention that production will probably take some time. i am going to say roughly two months before i will get the first set in. they could come much sooner, but that's my best guess atm

Hi Stephen,

thanks for the info. I will pass on the possible delivery date to the potential buyers. I also have some interest for a RHD version. Is this completely out of the question?

Thanks for this.

jazzcornet, I have a question. For the carbon fiber piece, would you make the left side piece that goes on the other side of the steering wheel also in CF, so it completes the look, or is it up to the buyer to overlay or fab that up themselves? I ask because it would look bad IMO to only have of the dash plastic surround in Carbon Fiber.

If I sent you an ashtray pod, would you be willing to remold and make one that had the 3 in the vents, or even 2 in the vents, with a 52mm vent piece, and 2 below for a total of 4 gauges?

Id donate my ashtray pod to the cause if youd consider it.

Well, might not be wild about the look, but I figure his idea keeps a center vent for A/C and heat, plus it still allows for 3 or so gauges. It's no worse than the emspowered ashtry pod holders for 2 gauges or an S-AFC..

i could have that done, but it wont be cheap. It will cost me $300 just to have the mold made and then probably ~$75 or so per piece. if we can get enough people interested in that, i'm sure we could work something out
