as for the ashtray pod, i may be able to work something out. i'd be more apt to do that with the avcr pod than the guage pod though. 5 guages is overkill (even though im running 12) but the avcr pod would be a nice addition. if you can gather up enough interest for either of them, i'm sure we can swing it.

It's just the ashtray pod doesn't fit the contour of the panel at all...It just protrudes too much. The great thing about this panel/gauge pod is that it looks STOCK! Like it was on the car when it came from the factory! If you added the ash tray thing, it'd probably ruin it...

4 gauges with a vent hole.
EGT, Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, WBO2 for gauges. Use the EMS Powered gauge, or whatever and there is your gauge collection. 4 is perfect for me. |

maybe mr2magic will ask in the german board for the avc-r version
I can do it too, but it's mr2magics thread and so I won't interfering in it here some pics of the ashtray version, pics are from my car AVC-R pod for the ashtray problem you will not see very much at this position the air vents are the better place |

Well, not as many of us have AVCRs as have gauges.
Honestly, with what EMS Powered is going to be doing, releasing modular replacements for the stock stuff... I may not even be pursuing this. Ill still send you my ashtray pod if you want to dev something with it. Im all about putting back into the community. |

Luni - your generousity to this community has not gone unnoticed! check your PM's for a $100 gift certificate for powdercoating
Pearljamzz - you pay twice for being impatient!! j/k here are the pictures i promised. they arent anything special because of the crappy lighting, but you can generally see that the finishes are identical!!!!!!!!! the oem is slightly scratched (to be expected from a 17yo piece) but overall, they could pass for twins as far as the finish is concerned! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
