carbon fiber/carbon kevlar complete interior

ok. so i went to my carbon fabricator tonight to test fit all the pure sec guage pods in a dash and install all the nessesary components (hazard switch, cigarette lighter, ashtray, etc). that was very tedious!! nevertheless, we also went over every last part of the interior so i can give you guys a fair quote. the first group buy will be on the shifter surround and the drivers air vent surround to compliment the pure sec guage pod. a minimum of 30 will be required for production.

shifter surround group buy price: $40
after group buy price: $70

drivers vent surround GB price: $75
after: 105

for the following parts, a minumum of ten orders must be placed before production. the more people we can get in on it, the less money you will have to pay. there is no pattern to this for different parts but just as a reference, we'll take the headliner. if ten people order, the group buy price will be $275. after the group buy the normal price will be $400. if we can get 20 people in, i can lower the price to $250
if 30 people order, i can lower it to 240, etc.

headliner GB price: $275
after: $400

Back window trim (along the bottom of the window extending from side to side) GB price: $250
after: $275

center console GB price: $350
after: $425

guage cluster enclosure GB price: $45
after $55

Switch panel (the lower panel under the steering column which contains the housing for the stock fog light switch and blanks) GB price: $90
after: $115

passenger vent surround (the little surrounding plate which borders the passenger dash vent) GB price: $35
after: $50

rear 1/4 glass surround (both sides) GB price: $500
after: $575

rear speaker surround (pair, beneath the 1/4 glass surround which connects to the sub boxes) GB price: $240
after: $290

A-pillars (pair) GB price: $200
after: $265

Frunk lever surround (the frunk popper plastic) GB price: $50
after: $75

Door sills (pair) GB price: $200
after $275

this is just the start. every single little plastic piece in the interior has been quoted accurately and i will host a group buy just as soon as enough people show interest in a particular item.

FURTHERMORE, we will also be offering colored carbon kevlar with all these pieces. we offer blue, red, yellow, green, and purple. for blue, red, or yellow, add 11% to the cost. for green or purple, add 15%

OMG! I know what I'm gonna be saving for! Now the A-pillar and Headliner must be for t-top cars right? I have a hardtop.

true statement. unless you are willing to give up your headliner and pillars for the mold and generate enough interest for hard top owners. the tooling cost for the headliner was $400 and the the a-pillars were $300. so i would have to at least make that back to make it worth my time

Well considering there are not many hardtops made and some owners might not want any, I might be better off saving for some of the other parts that are not related to t-top/hardtop applications.

So do we pay for the parts first and wait until enough people get in on it? Or sign up then once enough people sign up we all pay at once? I'm interested in the shifter surround for sure. Even though I have an automatic, I'm switching to manual come spring time. I'm not sure if they are the same for manual and automatic. And also I'd be down for the frunk lever surround. And maybe more if I can build up some cash by the time this goes down.
