Yeah Colin...yours look really nice. I need to get on the ball and start doing that. Too bad I'm poor Hopefully not for too much longer. I wanna do the climate control but it looks like there are a lot of dim spots/hot spots on the CC. Is there a way to make it look more uniform?

My old camera makes the hotspots look worse than they really are. There are hotspots with the stock setup as well. The hotspot issue would probably be best solved by adding/modifying the acrylic inside unit, but I haven't tried yet (I am looking for a junk unit that I can mess with)

This is a cool thread... You inspired me to do my cluster and climate control. Thanks Ben!
I wonder if the wide angel ones will help with the hot spots... BTW how many LEDs makeup the climate control?

So the MKII MR2 needs 4 LED bulbs for the gauge cluster

(My stock gauge lights are weak, I can't even see them at night so I'll end up changing the bulbs)

2 - 360 degree LEDs for the background, 10 - 3mm LEDs for the indicators and A/C button

i didn't even know you did this write up, it's pimp. i've replaced lights on my stock gauges before so i don't think it's gonna be and issue, but what i'd like to know is, how about that area where you put your key in for the ignition, can i make that red with an LED? i believe (and this was 6-7 years ago) i took it apart once and it had 1 tiny bulb in there with a small green condom on it?

Nice set up ^

who knew that changing some light bulbs would make such a huge difference

Now I'm just wondering what colors should I get
(Should all of them match, or should I get different colors to match my car, or should it match my interior? its going to drive me crazy)

remember, the red led's give you the most hp increase .

i have them on now and i kinda wanted more of a hyper white, and my turned out kinda purple looking, im gonna buy a new set of the LED's so if you want mine, i won't charge you the $6-7 shipping they did to me. PM if you want them.
