I converted my car to 94 tails and so I am interested in selling my illuminated name plate made by Ben. Its one of his pre-production ones so it is not powdercoated, but is instead, painted in black. I asked Ben before posting this.

^ The plate was modified by cbulen to enlarge the letters, so it is not exactly the same as the ones I have

Hi Ben, no its the one you sold me, unmodified.

The plate with enlarged letters is currently in use by me on my car. This plate is an entirely different plate.

I no longer have any "reject" plates. ALL the plates are now powdercoated. I now have MR2, Turbo, TRD, and SW20 plates in stock and powdercoated.

Price is still $110 for single color plates, $140 for color changing plates.

Hey, Ben. Just wanted to pop on and mention that I really like this idea, and you seem to have done a great job with it. My 2 is a bit of a project, so I have a few priorities ahead of (albeit awesome) cosmetic stuff. Don't get discouraged. At least until I get one.

BTW, as my car is an N/A, and technically an SW21, anyone gonna give me s*** if I put one of the SW20 badges on there?

Turbo cars VIN state that we're SW22. NA cars VIN state that you're SW21.

We're ALL SW20 as that's our chassis code designation. Or at least that's what the Japanese say. So if anyone gives you ****, kick them in the balls and tell them to go suck an egg.

Oh, interesting..... Having never examined a turbo's VIN, I didn't know that. I'm an emigrant from the DSM world, where the first gen cars had separate chassis designations for the AWD and FWD models (which I think they clarified for the gen 2). Thanks for the heads-up! And if anyone winds up giving me s***, I'll definitely take your advice.
