Just out of curiosity running on stock fuel how many psi could I run, just an estimate? I would take to dyno, but just wondering a guess from you. And is it a big difference over the stock ct26 stock fuel? (I have mbc, exhaust, intercooler)
I will eventually get 550's and a full EMS, but for the time being I was wondering if its worth going with now because my stock turbo is crap.

an SB46/50 is a VAST improvement over the stock CrappyTurbo-26.

You could run about 16-18psi depending on how your car does. I've seen some run out of fuel a little over 16psi, and others no problems at 18psi. At any rate, typically you would make in excess of 50 more hp at the wheels at a given boost level (14-16psi range) than the stock turbo with all other things being equal. You will likely never run out of fuel with the stock turbo, though detonation is still possible because of how grossly it heats the air when pushed. Is that a big difference to you?

Seems like a good difference. I just wasnt sure if it was worth it to put on a stock motor or just wait until I can get tuning done. Im currently building a forged shortblock and I have some 1mm oversize valves and will eventually do my headwork, so either way I will go EMS sometime.

I had called before about picking up an exhaust from you guys. A few days later I found a handy leak from my rear main seal and ended up replacing the clutch/flywheel instead. Is it still possible to do a pickup and how would that affect these prices?

Oh, yeah that would probably help. The 2.5in TKO system.

We could take $40 off the sale price if you picked up the TKO here.
