If you are talking about an aftermarket intercooler shroud that sits against the engine bay wall, then that's held up with the intercooler mounting bolts. There should be holes through it. It's tough to line all that up, I know. You can temporarily put a small bolt through one of the shroud holes to hold it there while you loosely mount the intercooler with the other holes. Once that's done, move the intercooler enough to get that first bolt out, and put a correct bolt in that hole through the intercooler. Tighten the whole ch-bang down and you are down.

If the intercooler you bought didn't come with studs, then it will certainly be harder to install. We do not provide hardware with the recirc shield at this time. It's not too bad with studs in each of the stock holes. The IC's that this recirc shield was made to work with only uses 2 of the stock mounting locations, making it possible to tighten the 3rd without having an issue (but make sure you can get the other 2 bolts in before tightening it).
