I agree in part with the water cooled scenario. There really is no replacement for turbo timing the turbo, water cooled or not. I do recommend the water cooling if you are seeing extended track use (20+ min sessions on a road course on a regular basis -- more than a couple times a year). We've had our oil only cooled turbos go for 4 years on several cars and are still going. We've also had them used on occasional road course use, and even in rally events without a failure. I offer the option and it costs what it does because of the quality of the lines and fittings we use for the water cooling in addition to the cost of upgrading the turbo itself. If you compare it side by side, our lines and fittings are superior to those used by our competition in most cases. From the internet standpoint, it's hard to see quality differences, but very easy to see price differences.

i dont doubt the quality of ur workmanship on ur product. its just i see the CT26 has water cooling. and i think if i was gonna get an upgraded turbo. i'd want it too. and yes i run a turbo timer on my car. its more of a piece of mind thing for me to want the watercooling on the cartridge assembly.
i will prolly most likely go for the option of watercooling anyway. im just waiting to sell this other MR2 i have so i can finally purchase it and make KO 2400 richer :-D |

That's fair enough -- and precisely why we offer the option. Let me know if I can help any further.
