SEARCH FIRST! '93+ Front spoiler lip pricing

I get requests for prices on '93+ front spoiler lips often enough that I think I ought to just post them here...

The lip was unpainted black plastic in '93, and painted body color for '94 and '95, and is sold prepainted ONLY in colors available on '94-'95 cars.

The list below is, to the best of my knowledge, all of the parts required to retrofit the lip to '91 and '92 cars. Shipping is usually between $20 and $35, depending on your location. The closer you are to us (in Oregon), the cheaper it is. One sad note - I cannot ship these via USPS because of their size. Unfortunately, Canadian customers may have to bite the bullet on UPS customs if they want to buy one from us.

76851-17060 - Lip, unpainted black plastic ('93 only)
76851-17062-A0 - Lip, 040 Super White
76851-17062-C0 - Lip, 202 Black
76851-17062-D0 - Lip, 3E5 Super Red
76851-17062-B0 - Lip, 187 Steel Mist Gray
76851-17062-F0 - Lip, 576 Super Bright Yellow
76851-17062-G0 - Lip, 6M1 Dark Green Mica
76851-17062-J0 - Lip, 8B6 Strong Blue

If you are retrofitting this lip to a '91 or '92, you will also need four retainers and some hardware to complete the job. The retainers and hardware total about $82 (as of 05/10):

76853-17020 - Retainer, upper center
76863-17040 - Retainer, lower right
76864-17020 - Retainer, lower left
76861-17030 -Retainer, lower center
90269-03003 - Rivet (x2 req'd)
90179-06274 - Nut (x11 req'd)
90179-06185 - Nut (x4 req'd)

As always, the best way to get current pricing or place an order for any part is to paste the part numbers you are interested in into the Search By Part Number bar, or the Multiple Part Number Search link below it, on the left side of the page at our website, LithiaToyotaParts.com - then add the parts to the cart and set the quantity you want on each item, and place the order on the website at your convenience.

Wow, only 20-35 for shipping?!? I remember requesting a shipping quote from Conicelli awhile back and told me $100 minimum due to it being an "oversized" package.

Thanks Aaron.

Well, yeah...it's Oversize 1, which isn't too awfully bad. Bumpers are pretty much gonna be around $100, but front lips are fairly reasonable. Hope this is useful info for you guys!

Can anyone point me to a link, or provide pics of a comparison between the '91 style and '93 style lip? I'm curious to see what the differences are. Thanks.

I don't think it has anything to do with age. I'm sure Toyota has some weird formulae that they use to set parts prices with, but I have no idea what they are. There are still at least 15 '93 lips in my part of the country and I suspect many more in Japanland.

If all you have is the bare urethane lip, you'd need everything else in my first post. Or a box of wood screws and some duct tape

They're strips of aluminum channel with some studs attached to them. If you have six of those and you have the lip, all you'll need is the remaining rivets and nuts.

Silly question: the prices mentioned above, do they including the "club discount" in your signature?

And another one: Is the super white 040 close to superwhite 043 or are they really different?

Yup - the prices quoted above are the discounted prices.

I don't really know how close 040 and 043 are. It looks like '91s and '92s came in 043, and then from '93 up it was 040, but I can't recall exactly how white they are relative to each other.

040 is whiter than 043, I believe.

You're probably right. I've heard 040 referred to as the brightest of all Toyota whites, but then that's heresay and hardly the type of thing one can back up without seeing it for yourself.

You need the whole 93+ front bumper to retrofit the 93+ lower lip to a 91 car properly.

The curvature of the '91 bumper where it meets the lip is NOT the same and is definitely noticeable.

If you've seen that, I think it must have been due to some deformation or other damage, because Toyota only shows one part number for all MkIIs. It doesn't matter what year it is or whether it has fog lights or whether it's a turbo or not - the only part number is 52119-17904.
