Black pearl Toyota emblem - will the Supra one fit?
Hey Aaron,
I've been looking for the "smoke" or "black pearl" colored Toyota emblems for the front and rear of the MR2. I think they used this emblem on the JDM anniversary edition or something, but these may be hard to find. But I recently noticed that the USDM Supra anniversary edition also had a black pearl Toyota emblem -- can you get these, and do you know if they would fit on an MR2? |

I don't know whether it would fit or not. In fact, I'm not sure whether I can get it or not, since I can't seem to find it. What year Supra got that package?

It looks like the 1997 model was the "15th anniversary edition", I just did some google searching and they seem to have the darker colored emblems on the front and rear.

That's really weird. I looked through the EPC and it showed the same emblem for all JZA Supras. I also trie the accessory book and it showed nothing. I'll take another look and see what comes up.

Ok.. it's possible that all MkIV Supras had the black pearl color. I guess the EPC catalog just has the black & white diagrams so it's hard to tell the color. What's the price for the rear Toyota emblem for the supra? I could just try it... although if I remove my current emblem and the new one doesn't fit, then I'd have to get a new MR2 emblem or try and replace the double-sided tape on it. |

mthreat - I was able to find the part number (and have 1 in my posession) the front gunmetal 10th anniversary MR2 emblem (im not selling it). However, the rear emblem has eluded me, after several attempts with part numbers (ordering them), i have given up on the rear emblem.
When I get home, if you would like, I can post the part number for the front to see if Aaron can get them. If your lucky enough, you could bribe an aussie to send you the rear MR2 emblem (center panel "MR2") that came on MR2's there, they were gunmetal also, but the emblems were chrome. Or maybe get the part number from them to see if Aaron can get you one. Just need the rear one to match, which I cant find ![]() |

I don't think the rear toyota emblem had prongs? or was that just the "TOYOTA" emblem...

I don't remember.. I do know for sure that the rear trunk has one or two holes where the emblem goes. And I know that at least one of the front or rear Toyota emblems has prongs (maybe both), but I don't remember.

The Toyota "T" emblem on the rear trunk does have two prongs, and curves to match curve in the trunk(I just got a new one for my 2 recently) the Toyota and the turbo/gts/gt emblems are just mounting tape. As for the front Toyota "T" emblem I can't remember if it had prongs or not(been like 4 years since I had the stock front bumper) anyway hope the other info helps.

Strange. I can't find anything in the '97 accessory book, and the EPC shows the same emblems as all other MkIV Supras. If anyone has any JDM part numbers I'd be happy to see if I can get them.

Aaron, if you have a Sequoia accessory book by you, they tend to have the Black Pearl emblems in them. I believe they are the same size as the MR2 emblems.

75314-14010 is also the US part number for all MkIV Supras. It's $17.11. That other part number doesn't come up on the US system. I did try replacing the O at the end with a 0 - still no luck. |
