Center emblem for 91 MR2
The tabs for center emblem on my 91 MR2 are broken off. The emblem goes in between the taillights in the "grill" area.
The one that came off my car has a black surround with silver lettering. I've read it comes in red as well. I'd like to get prices of the black/silver one. Thanks |

Would you be able to get me a MR2 name plate for the JDM 91-93 rear garnish? The name plate I have is white, but I want it to be in silver. The part number for the white one I have is: 75471-17090. I don't know what the part number is for silver, which is what I need.
Here is a pic. I have the top one, but I want it to be the same color as the bottom one: ![]() Thanks! |

Ben, are you sure that you have the right part number? I don't see 75471-17090 being a valid number. I do see 75471-17070, which I believe is the chrome one, but they're not really described well. Your cost on that is $19.54. There are three others but they have color code suffixes attached and seem to be for cars painted in 567, 3J6, or 043...

75471-17090 is what is stamped on the plate. Its a Japanese part number which is probably why it doesn't work
No worries, I thought it was worth a shot |

Ah, but you know something...Toyota parts that have a color to them, like this emblem, often have an incomplete part number molded in; different color parts may use the same die or mold, so they'll show the same part number, but it ain't quite the whole story. I don't know what color cars got white lettering, but check this page out:
MR2 - Electronic Parts Catalogue I suspect 75471-17070 is the chrome one. I just don't have enough MkII experience to say for sure. |

I can confirm for you that 75471-17070 is the chrome one in the picture above (bottom one).
Looking at that link and then the color codes for the MR2, it doesn't seem like there was a chrome one for the JDM plate...... Does 75471-17100 work in your system? I think that this one might be my best bet. |

The JDM panel has a different design and in the picture above, the name plate is bigger and a different shape as seen here: Going JDM.....
For a last ditch effort, does 75471-17090-J0 work? Last edited by Ben; 06-21-2008 at 09:16 PM.. |

I've noticed this a few times on interior plastics. Often the molded number on the plastic part isn't good in anyones' systems. It's frustrating!
