Quote: Wiper arms
I think I actually only need the spring that holds them to the windshield - they're getting kinda loose and floppy. Any chance I can get a quote for both the full arm and just the spring?
I have a 91 NA. ![]() |

The spring isn't available by itself, so you'd have to get the whole arms. Bummer!
85211-17060 - $53.63 - Arm, RH 85221-17030 - $48.07 - Arm, LH Thanks! |

Any chance you know how to go about installing these? Is it something I can do myself?

It's super easy. You will want to mark the position of the end of each wiper blade before you start by placing a piece of masking tape on the glass where the outer end sits (with the wipers in the down position). Open the frunk lid, then pry the little covers at the bottom end of the arms up, exposing the nuts that hold the arms to the shafts. Loosen those nuts but do not remove them all the way, then pull the wipers up off the glas and wiggle the arms until they come loose from the shafts. Once they are loose you can remove the nuts and pull the arms off entirely.
Easy stuff, just use common sense and take care not to damage the paint or glass! |

Aaron, you know if the spindles are the same size so those of us with older arms could maybe update?

From what I am seeing, the wiper linkage was basically the same throughout the entire MkII model run, so yes, they should be compatible.

Shipping usually depends on location but I'd probably be able to use Priority Mail for about $4.90.
The prices I quote here are well below factory suggested retail. Do you work at that dealership or have a wholesale connection of some kind? |

Wait a minute - are you trying to sell parts from your dealership in my vendor forum? If you are, please don't. This is my storefront and how I earn my paycheck. If you're not, it kind of looks like you are...

Ah, I see. I would expect emplyee cost to be a little lower than MR2 club pricing. I do have to make some profit in order to keep the lights on and the rent paid.

![]() Will do. I'm actually going to pick up the arms here in the near future. Gotta get moved first - maybe next week. |
