Hes going to tell you he cant get that plate I think, and hes also going to ask you if your car has cruise control, or intermittent wipers.
So you should just post whether you have cruise control and or intermittent wipers. And if you do have cruise control you should post if you want the cable from the pedal to the cc box, or the cable from the cc box to the throttle body. |

Ok, so just to clarify for Aaron when he reads this, looking in your engine bay on the passenger side of the engine bay, do you have a cable junction box where one cable goes in and then a shorter foot long or so cable comes out and goes to the throttle body, or have you removed that, and you just have the main cable going directly to the throttle body?
Cause if you have the junction box and just need the secondary cable its WAY easy to replace, and its a cheap part. If you have removed that box, and need the single cable, youre ordering a cable for an MR2 turbo without intermittent wipers (no cruise control) and its more of a pain to change out. |

![]() I bought an intake manifold plate not long ago, but I ordered a North American Spec one (they don't say "Ceramics Powered" on them. The parts department I ordered from wasn't able to give me the part number for the Japanese version, only the North American. |

Bah, makes for good conversation. Aaron will get the end result anyway.
Plus I helped him by filtering down what throttle cable the OP needed. Go find some more TRD parts to add to your wish list canadam ![]() |

Luni, thanks for the detective work. Throttle cables are the subject of much confusion in the MkII world. The cable from the pedal directly to the throttle body for an SW20 is this one: 78180-17180 - $127.17 - cable, accelerator Thanks guys! Last edited by te51levin; 06-20-2008 at 03:09 PM. |

OK, you stumped me. What TRD plate are you thinking of?

Interesting. That's not just a generic decal applied to the manifold? I can't see anything specific to the engine.

Looks like a generic aluminum TRD plate sold on ebay. Glad I can order in the stock twin entry plate, sweet! Will make my restoration even better. Thanks guys!
