Right 1/4 Panel Vent

Hey Aaron,

Just wondering if you can find this old part# 62905-17020, it is the passager side 1/4 panel vent, the little triangle part by the glass. I think its the #2 in the picture.

Jeff, if you search this subforum you can often find the stuff you're looking for already quoted out. In this case the louvers are priced out in this thread:
Items I am looking for / for a restore...

The price has gone up marginally since that thread was posted back in May. They're now $57.10 each rather than $56.02. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks man!

Aaron,

Do I need that piece as well? Mine is loose, but it still fits. I am particularly interested in the molding that surrounds it on the inside. It seems to be leaking water when it rains from that vent. Do I just need more sealent or do I need to replace the entire piece?

I'm not sure how they go together, frankly. My car is a MkI so I can't compare it in real life. The EPC does not show which parts seal against water entry so I'll have to let someone else answer that. You might try posting in the MkII forum and see if anyone can help, or just take yours apart and see where it's leaking. Nothing beats first hand knowledge!
