Center console on a MkII, I assume? You mean the shifter surround panel? How many do you need? There are plenty in the US (almost 400 ) but as quantities get larger, it gets tougher to follow up on the order; Toyota tends to cancel on us once a certain amount of scrambling has been reached...

Toyota dealers are not allowed access to the Lexus EPC, nor to parts that are not sold on Toyota badged vehicles, so I can't do anything on that ball joint unless you have a part number that happens to work on a Toyota as well.

There are more than enough in the country, but ordering 300 is a little trickier. If you don't mind, give me a call Tuesday, or just shoot me an email reminder, and I'll call Toyota to see how to handle it. I believe they have a special procedure for large quantity orders that will be a lot easier than placing sixty orders for five clips each.

Not yet. With large orders like that the fill time is pretty variable. There is just no easy way to get huge quantities of anything on a moment's notice. I'm off today, but I'll call Toyota tomorrow and see if they have an ETA for us.

Toyota just called me. They are giving me an ETA of end of October or beginning of November. I told them you need them as fast as they can but I am not sure they can expedite it on an order this size - it kind of gets handled outside the normal parts system.

hey Aaron, just following up on this. my customers are whining now

My large-order contact at Toyota says she shows several hundred of them "in transit" (i.e. on their way to a warehouse or PDC), and they are probably for us. She is going to contact the analyst and see if we can prioritize them and bop them up here soon rather than waiting for them to sift through the system.

My customers whine too, but most of them are Prius owners, or elderly people who don't understand how the fadeaway dome lights work. Different crowd, same sound.

UPDATE: They are going to pick 300 early and ship them to us, so we'll have them in about a week. As soon as they come in I will redirect them to you on the fly!
