I believe the part # is 13540-88382 but I'm not 100% sure.

13540-88382 ($41.42) is for a GenII. The GenIII part number is apparently 13540-88480, and Toyota does not stock that in the US, so I cannot supply it. I don't know whether the GenII part will work for you.

Sorry man

Thats so weird. So even with the correct number Toyota cant put it on their computer system and order it ?
Man that reakky sucks. We can get any part as long as its still available. Mind you i have pissed off Toyota head office by getting them to put on file more than 300 parts.

Correct. TMS-USA will not sell me parts that are not on their parts system. The only exception is if you own a JDM vehicle that is legally registered to you here in the US, and can prove it to Toyota. In that case, they will special order parts for it from Japan even though they are not on the US parts system.

No wonder the high prices of second hand parts on ebay. You guys have no idea en that they are dearer than the new parts given that you cant order them. What a shame.
For the record building my Beams Red Top l ordered 3280 parts ! only one screw was discontinued. And inexcess of 600 parts were not on the Australian Parts System but they were put on and ordered for me

Toyota Australia operates differently than Toyota Motor Sales USA does. It may have something to do with the greater number of secondhand Japanese imports, or just a different way of doing business. Whatever the case, TMS-USA doesn't do that for US dealers, so we (US dealers) are forced to go to a third party, such a Toyota dealer in Japan who is willing to sell parts to us. My dealership does not have such a contact and at this time it's not something we are ready to jump into.

Well if i can ever help let me know . I wont get quotes for tire kickers full stop.........
But will get a part at no extra cost bar obviously Toyota price to me evident with reciept, exchange to USD and freight. Keep that in mind just for those desparate customers who HAVE to have a part.
Need our MR2's to live on

I dont know how much work it is for you or your dealership, but you could make ALOT of money getting JDM stuff like gen3 parts. There would be SOO many members who would go to you for stuff like this. Im thinking theyd even be willing to pay more for the stuff too just for the convenience of being able to find it from a Toyota Dealership.

Given the buisness YOU do on this place, seems like it would be win/win if you could establish some sort of a relationship.
