Supercharger parts?

Kind of an odd request, but I was wondering if it would be possible to order the misc. parts of the TRD supercharger kit for the 5VZ seperate from the supercharger itself.

Reason I ask is that I can get a rebuilt supercharger for cheap, but they don't come with any of the pulleys or anything. And my ebay bids keep getting sniped.

I hate ebay.

EDIT: And while I hate ebay, I actually just now managed to win the whole kit, lol. But I'm still kinda curious if you could buy the parts seperately... Thanks!

EDIT2: While I still have your attention, is it still possible to get ahold of the suspension springs for all four corners of a '92 NA? The roads and parking lot ramps are so crap and unpredictable around here I don't even want to try lowered springs.

Well, generally speaking, service replacement parts are available. If you find that you need a part or two, I will look into it and see what can be had. The springs are still available, though there are only a couple of front springs in the US at this time.

48131-17280 - $43.81 - Spring, coil, front (x2 = $87.62)
48231-17590 - $68.85 - Spring, coil, rear (x2 = $137.70)

Thanks!

Hmm... That's spendier than I had hoped. I'll have to check back middle of next month.

Oh, and while I'm here... Is it possible to buy a Solara manual transmission FINAL GEAR only? I want to swap it into my '93 Turbo box.

Sure, if you don't mind spending money. As an example, I picked a 2001 Solara V6 manual tranny. As a MkI owner I don't know OTOH if there's a different setup SW20 guys use...?

33321-20120 - $207.81 - Shaft, output
41221-12240 - $202.06 - Gear, front differential ring

Haha, looks like I'll have to wait until the middle of next month for those, too.

But at least I can plan the stuff I have left around them now.

I'm going to seek confirmation, just to be sure beforehand... But I've heard from more than one source that those just swap in, no prob.

Thanks!

More parts hunting!

I've been exploring the transmission options and learned that the final gear setup in the E53 gearbox from the early 90's manual Camrys would work. I know it's not as low a ratio, but like I said... I'm exploring options. If it's significantly cheaper, I may go that route instead.

Also, it appears the only part I need for the TRD supercharger (2nd gen model) is the intake gasket.

Also, I'm told that the NA MR2 heater hoses and the 3VZ-FE coolant hoses should plug right in. Could I get a quote for those, too?

Thanks again!

EDIT: while I'm adding things on here... The how much could the TRD front and rear strut braces be had for?

I have to think extra hard now. I'm running out of parts to buy from you.

Uhhhhhmmm...this might get complicated. I don't have the engine and car in front of me, and it's tough to know what you need when you aren't sure yet either...but I'll try! You're not going to find any bargains in gears, either. These are all going to cost a lot of money. There aren't any magic combinations that price out at $79.

A '91 Camry V6 MTM takes the same final drive as the Solara I already quoted. Here's a '93 Camry V6 MTM:
33321-33010 - $253.25 - Shaft, output
41221-32060 - $204.45 - Gear, front differential ring

I'm not seeing the SC gasket anywhere. In this case it'll be far faster and less headache for you to make your own out of gasket paper.

The SW21 engine compartment heater hoses - see attached pic:
87245-17260 - $25.84 - Hose, water (87246B)
87245-17250 - $36.23 - Hose, heater water, inlet A (87245A)
87208-17080 - $100.36 - Pipe sub-assy, heater water, C (87208C)
80636-18717 - $15.56 - aftermarket hose that replaces the rubber portion of 87208C

I don't see how any Camry hoses are going to work, but if you let me know what specifically you need, I'll look them up.

Crap, for some reason, I have issues reading exploded diagrams unless the entire assembly is there or a shadow of the car, at least.

But the tube I'm looking for is the coolant outlet pipe. There's mention of it here MR2 Technical Knowledgebase - V6 How To-A Visual Aid about 4/5 the way down the article. It shows a picture of the 5VZ coolant outlet in the photo, but the caption makes note that a 3VZ-FE coolant outlet pipe will hook right up without the need for me to reshape the existing one.

Haha, with as awesome as 79 bucks for a gear would be, I was optimistically hoping it would be, say, $60 cheaper. But it looks like I'll be going with the Solara gear.

Oh, and what may or may not be useful for the future... The stock metal throttle body gasket on the 5VZ equipped trucks will work with some trimming of the gasket. I was just hoping to get the rubber one and do it "right" if you will.

Thanks again!

Oh yeah... And the TRD strut braces?

Ohhhh...excellent, thanks, that helps a bunch! It looks like you need two hard parts plus an o-ring. These are highlighted in the attached pic.
16321-62010 - $29.21 - Inlet, water (PNC 16321)
16322-62020 - $26.56 - Pipe, water inlet (PNC 16322)
96761-35031 - $2.55 - O-ring, water inlet pipe (PNC 16322A)

And the strut braces I forgot to list:
PTR04-17900-01 - $257.20 - Strut brace, rear
PTR04-17900-02 - $200.35 - Strut brace, front
