I hate to say it, but the ones the EPC suggests for your car are discontinued. I tried looking for '95 and '93 sunvisors in tan, and they're also a no-go. Sorry I wasn't able to come up with anything useful...

![]() So what about something from another model? Maybe the plastic piece I need remained the same through another year? What about importing JDM from a 98? |

It's pretty unlikely I'll be able to get later model JDM parts, because they will not be on the US parts system, and non-US visors won't have the appropriate warning labels for the US market, so it's kind of a safety/liability issue from Toyota's perspective. You might find them used through a private party though. What plastic piece are you referring to?

It's the plasitc piece that the screws go into when you mount it.
The design is pretty crappy. There is a tension spring that puts pressure on the plastic piece...this is the tension that keeps the visor up and prevents if from just falling down when clipped in. The problem is that they crack along the shaft from the tension over time...so with our cars just a little too much tension when installing and snap. Both of mine have the splits and one of them snapped on me. I am willing to buy a tan visor from any other model and just swapping the piece I need. I would imagine it would be pretty generic in shape and size. Let me see if I can take one up to the local dealer and match it to a current model. |

If it's the little plactic piece that screws into the roof and you need it in tan you can get it in black and get the interior paint? Also, could get a new visor in black, and then get it recovered? Expensive, but possible...

I was almost thinking the same thing. Toyota doesn't sell that separately, but if you can find one in a junkyard, you could probably swap it over. Black plastic parts seem to be more robust than other colors in my experience, so it might be worth finding some black donor parts and then spraying them tan to match the car.

For a '91 or '92, yes, we can still get them, althought the warning labels will not be the same as the '91:
74310-17200-01 - $55.21 - Visor, black, T-top, RH 74320-17220-01 - $46.22 - Visor, black, T-top, LH |

Aaron. I want to go with the black ones you quoted...as well as the black inserts that go behind the door handles on the inside of the door.
Also..I need a couple of the screws that secure the inside piece behind the door handle and two screws for the visors. I will give you a call today. ![]() |
