WTB: BNIB TRD EVERYTHING for my '91 N/A

So, I've been lurking and searching the boards for a little bit and it seems TRD parts are hard to come by.

Decided just to buy whats available, here's what I'm looking for and hopefully the correct part numbers.

1.) Springs (SET): 00602-48130-010

2.) Shocks (Front/Rear): 00602-48511-013/ 00602-48531-015

3.) Anti-Sway bars (Front/Rear): 00602-48810-005/00602-48830-006

4.) Strut bars (Front/Rear): 00602-53607-002/00602-53605-001

5.) Steel braided brake lines (SET): 00602-47300-010

That's it for now, quick shifter and bushing kit to follow after I've horded these parts.

In a perfect world I'd buy these all at once, but it isn't a perfect world.

But, luckily I get paid weekly every Friday and will be able to order one of the numbered items, maybe two each week.

So, cash in hand, let me know what's available.

Can be always reached at ejhamada@gmail.com

E-mails get sent directly to my phone.

I'm in San Diego, CA 92154.

Springs should be good to go, tho I bought mine almost 2 months ago. Aaron Willis at Lithia toyota has stated he keeps the sway bars in stock, dunno if he has any left.

I know a few people who are sitting on a set or two but I don't know if they'll give them up yet (TRD Strut Braces that is)...

Ack. Seems nobody wants TRD parts until they are impossible to come by.

Let me approach this line by line. Part of the difficulty you're encountering is that you are using seriously out-of-date part numbers (TRD USA changes them frequently) rather than current TRD Japan or TRD-USA numbers, so I will update that where applicable. You can/should also check the TRD Japan website at CAUTIONS & ATTENTIONS which will often indicate if a part is discontinued at the source. As you're probably aware, TRD Japan parts take three to four months to arrive once you've placed the order.

1.) Springs (SET): 00602-48130-010
Current TRD-USA part number is PTR04-17900-10. These are theoretically still available, but currently on backorder and have been out of stock for several months. We have a waiting list for them. Until they are in my hands, I can't take any orders.

2.) Shocks (Front/Rear): 00602-48511-013/ 00602-48531-015
These have gone through several part number changes and are both discontinued, though there is one pair of rear struts left over under PT901-48531-15 for $352.25. TRD Japan rear struts are also discontinued and no longer available, though they still offer front struts at $130 each. Indications are that the TRD-USA rear struts are Bilsteins, and I believe the TRD Japan parts are Tokico, so you may not want to mix and match.

3.) Anti-Sway bars (Front/Rear): 00602-48810-005/00602-48830-006
Current TRD-USA part numbers are PTR04-17900-05 front and PTR04-17901-06 rear. The front is still theoretically available at $174.09, but has been on backorder for a couple of months, just like the springs. The rear has been discontinued.

4.) Strut bars (Front/Rear): 00602-53607-002/00602-53605-001TRD Japan part numbers were 53607-SW201 front and 53605-SW201 rear, and the most recent TRD-USA part numbers were PTR04-17900-02 front and PTR04-17900-01 rear. I say "were" because TRD-USA discontinued these in December 2008. We sold out of everything we could get our hands on within 24 hours, and could have sold three times what we did if Toyota had the inventory. We worked harder than most to fill our orders and consequently were falsely accused (by a notoriously abrasive windbag who doesn't need to be named) of dirty dealing to get what we did. Meanwhile, some folks say these are discontinued at TRD Japan, while TRD-USA thinks they can still be ordered under the Japanese part numbers. We have some in order just in case, but again, all evidence suggests that the parts are really gone, and our orders will probably be cancelled eventually.

5.) Steel braided brake lines (SET): 00602-47300-010
Discontinued. The TRD Japan number, 47031-SW200, is also discontinued. There are several good alternatives available from other forum vendors.

You're quite welcome! It can be a real jumbled mess sometimes, and is often nearly impossible to determine what's dead, what's available, and how to get whatever still exists. TRD USA doesn't make it any easier with their frequent re-organizations and part number changes. Their communication also leaves a little to be desired. Sometimes my customers can tell me more about parts availability than TRD can, which is embarrassing to say the least.
