Aluminum won't literally rust, though corrosion is certainly possible. Unfortunately, new ones are not available, as that part has been discontinued. Hopefully you can latch onto a decent used example.

I have a friend that works with JM Lexis (Used Cars) - She took the full part number and called their guy at Toyota and they had it? Maybe they had the thermo housing. Maybe they just happen to have more stock.... If anyone needs... I'll look into it further..

Thanks te51levin

Almost certainly not. The guy she spoke with probably punched the part number into the computer and assumed that it was still available because the part number is still on the system. Since this stuff is kind of my specialty, I do a little more work than most to find out if a part is actually available in US warehouses, or can be ordered out of Japan, or has been discontinued. This one's definitely all gone.
