coolant hose

just wondering if you could help me out with a part my local Toyota dealer could not. i am looking for either the name or part number of a coolant line. its the one on the water outlet i believe?( on the left side of the motor) that goes to the radiator. its a silicone hose that has another silicone hose over it. thank you

I don't mean to leave you hanging, but I get very busy, and it can take me a few days to reply. Also, I don't work weekends, so if I can't get to you Friday, I won't have an answer until Monday. I know the internet is on 24/7, but I am not; I am a human being, and I do go home sometimes

I am at home now and will get you what I can for the time being.

However, I do need you to tell me what year your car is and which engine you have. MR2s come in a huge variety, and they can be very different. There is some manner of MkII in your avatar pic, so I'm assuming that is your car - but I would much rather know so that I can look up the right part once, than have to guess at it and look up the wrong part three or four times

. Having the information saves me a ton of time, which then helps me get back to requests like this one more quickly...

Also, you can save us both a lot of time by searching this sub-forum for appropriate keywords. I searched for "hoses" and came up with this quote I wrote up for another MkII owner a few months ago:ok my coolant hoses leak Toyota has raised prices on us since then by about 5%, but the part numbers will be the same.

From what you are describing, I think you want the hose marked 16558B, part number 16558-74010. I know the illustration makes it look like it is on the right side of the car, but if you follow the dotted lines, etc, you'll see that it is really on the driver's side, over the transmission. And I know we keep this in stock. After all, we are here to sell parts, not help other dealerships sell them. Give me a call on Monday if you want to order it. Thanks man!

EDIT 07/27/09: Your cost on this hose is $21.07, and we have three of them on the shelf and ready to ship.
