Hey
the B pipe will flange will not bolt onto the cat...the bolts are too far apart and they are at different angles
is it supposed to bolt onto the stock system?

That flange will bolt directly to the stock catalytic converter, but it can be a struggle if you're laying on your back in the driveway, doing everything by yourself. The weight of the muffler and cat can make it difficult to get things lined up. You may have to support the cat/muffler with a jack, or get someone to hold it up for you while you get the bolts started. Try putting just the top bolt in loosely, then jacking the downpipe up near the flange, a little at a time, until the other bolt will go in.

Also, I do want to make sure you're using the 10mm bolts I supplied. Anything bigger will probably not fit due to the offset of the bolt holes.

I don't see how yours could be off, considering I've built about two dozen pipes on the same jig and they've all fit perfectly. I suppose anything is possible. If it's still fighting you, post some pics of the trouble from a few different angles so I can get a better idea of what's wrong.

Did you put the hanger in the car's rubber insulator, just like the stock pipe?

yea i did everything like stock...the fit for the bpipe was weird to begin with...but mostly because one of the bolts on the manifold was bent just a little bit too much

I put the hanger in the hanger mount thing...but to bolt that onto the chassis i had to push the whole pipe to the drivers side a stiff inch (maybe half inch?) and then i hung the rest of the exhaust and it seemed to be a a bit off anglewise

i'm sure it fits fine...i was a bit rushed cuz i was geting ready to seafoam an old car !! fun stuff
i'll let you know when i figure out what i did wrong

Ah, I see, very good. So is everything good then? If you do have any suggestions on how to improve the fit, or anything else, I am all ears.

Hey could you possibly be bothered to do this for the 3SGE? Its very similar to the 20v. I dont even need a full piece, just the funny Vish flange, Y collector then straight pipe with a O2 bung. Not sure on the 20v but the inner diameter of the pipe is at least 2".

Anything I could offer you without having a 3SGE manifold here to check dimensions on would be entirely useless. I wonder if there is a way to find out what the 3SGE header outlet flange really looks like and get some numbers on it...

I could probably remove the header, trace the flange on some cardboard, apply graphite or ink to the 2 outlets. Then write the dimensions on it and snap a pic.

Let's just start with the center-to-center dimensions of each of the three studs...
