16575-16010 - $25.42 - Hose, radiator, no.5
Priority Mail - $9.00 - Westbrook, ME This is in an awkward category for shipping, so it may make sense to order a couple of other small things that you need at the same time. If you do want to place the order you can just call me up, and pay via credit card over the phone. Thanks! |

What kind of other small things?
Do you just *happen* to know what the small black round rubber-like stickers that are all over the chassis are? (there are some on the underside of the hood, but mainly I found them inside under the carpet, many of which cover holes between the inside and the outside of the car- the stickers all came off when I washed it, but I *need* something to cover these holes!) What kinds of parts can you get me? Inside the cooling section of the dashboard, theres an air-flap that controls airflow direction; it has a spongy looking material on it that's basically turned to dust. I'd love a new one of those ![]() lets see... the plastic wiretie clips that you clip into the chassis, and tape/tie wires to? I must have broken about three dozen of those. I can probably pick them up at napa or something, but if you sell them by the pound or something... ![]() the little plastic thing that holds my frunk lid arm in place is busted, but I'm thinking I might rig in some sort of hydraulic lifter for that. Oh boy, what else? I tore my whole car apart inside and out, so I'm certain theres more... |

Wow - when I said "small", you really took it literally! If you have a list of little nickel-and-dime items, it will save us both a lot of time if you can get the numbers yourself from www.toyodiy.com - it's not that I don't want to help, but the littlest things are also the most time consuming, and lately I just can't afford to spend a ton of time looking up a couple of dollars worth of parts.
Those little round stickers are listed as plug plates in the EPC. There's quite a variety of them, but you can find them in the body catalog, generally shown with the panel they are affixed to. The foam seals inside the HVAC system aren't sold separately. You can easily make new ones out of foam rubber, though. BTDT a couple of times with old Corollas. Wire clamps are in the Wiring Clamp section of the Electrical catalog. They are all sold individually, and there is a stunning variety: www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_U_1985_TOYOTA_MR2_AW11L-WCMQFA_8202.4 The frunk prop rod clamp is easy: 53455-17010 - $5.16 - Clamp, hood support rod |

Wow, that site is great!
I think, however, I'll fabricate my own means of plugging the holes, since I'm on a tight timescale to get this thing out the door. I'm going to hit up a local autozone that *says* they have the radiator hose, but if they don't I'll give you a call ![]() |

Please, please, no...I could (and have) rant for hours on how much I hate seeing Toyotas corrupted with Cheap Charlie parts. There's a reason Toyotas are reliable cars, and it's not because they're built out of cheap componentry.Let me know. Getting an good aftermarket hose for an MR2 from a discount parts chain store is an uphill battle. Their hoses are typically fairly generic (i.e. they don't fit), and their catalog descriptions are baffling. Not to mention the quality, which is about what you can typically expect from a discount chain store of any type (AutoZone, Wal-Mart, etc) - an appealing price on a cheaply made item that may or may not be correct, may or may not work properly, and may or may not last. |

Alright, you sold me- the local shop cant help me at all, it seems.
I'll need both the upper and lower radiator hoses, for now. Any way you accept credit cards online as opposed to the phone? (paypal maybe?) |
