TRD Strut Tower Bars BACK IN STOCK again - for now!
Late last year, Toyota Motor Sales USA decided to no longer stock TRD strut tower braces for the SW20, and they chopped their prices on them in order to blow out all their US inventory. It worked - we sold everything that Toyota would send us, and unfortunately we had to refund a few customers whos orders we simply could not fill. Toyota immediately ran out of inventory, and several months later, TRD finally allowed us to special order the parts from Japan. We got our first batch a while ago and very quietly took care of some of those who were still waiting. We just got our second order of TRD strut tower bars in from Japan. Whether you call it a strut brace or a tower bar or an STB, these are the same parts they've always been. They're in stock now at Lithia Toyota of Springfield and ready to ship to you. Get 'em while you can!
TRD Front strut tower bar: $219 shipped anywhere in the continental USA via UPS Ground $239 shipped to Alaska or Hawaii via USPS Priority Mail $249 shipped to Canada via USPS Priority Mail International $269 shipped to the UK or Europe via USPS Priority Mail International TRD Rear strut tower bar: $299 shipped anywhere in the continental USA via UPS Ground $329 shipped to Alaska or Hawaii via USPS Priority Mail $339 shipped to Canada via USPS Priority Mail International $359 shipped to the UK or Europe via USPS Priority Mail International Please call and speak to me (Aaron) or FrunkMonkey (Tracy) to place your order. You can pay with any major credit card. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. The phone number is (800)888-6305 or (541)736-3221. For these parts, shipping costs cannot be combined. For the time being we have to limit these to one of each per customer. There's been some hoarding and profiteering on these, and we want them available to people who actually want to put them on their cars, not sit on them so they can profit later. This is the real deal. These aren't "on order" or "almost here". We have them right here in our parts department, and when these are gone, we'll have more on the way. I'm out for the weekend. See you on Monday! |

This is totally awesome... great "in your face" for all of the people who bought them just to turn around and flip.

Great news. I will be ordering next pay day!
Is there a "combo deal" if we want to buy both strut bars? ![]() |

Cool, I thought you might be interested!
Unfortunately, no. We're already making less margin on these than we do on anything else - we're trying to keep prices down, even though our cost has risen significantly on them. We're accepting a very skinny profit so that we can keep these things moving through our store, rather than see our customers going to eBay or running all over the internet looking for a better deal that doesn't exist. |

Since neither you or Tracy are in today (I just called over there to buy front and rears), should I ask for someone else, or wait and call Monday morning?
If I need to wait until Monday, make sure to keep a set aside for me, I've got a credit card for you! |

Wait until Monday, please. DO NOT call at 4:30 AM and wonder why we're not there yet - we're on the west coast. Give us a call around late morning, early afternoon (our time) and we'll get you set up.
Don't panic! These are not kidneys. You'll get your set! ![]() |

So how long do you think these will be available? Not just the ones you have in stock, but in general.

Wow, that's an interesting question, but I really don't know. We'll keep ordering them as long as they continue to sell!

Noob question. How does the front TRD strut brace look like on the car? Will it combat body roll?

I wonder if we can find a picture of one installed...haven't had much time to look! These will combat body flex more than roll.
And we just got another shipment in today, so these are ready to ship out anytime you guys want to place the order! |

If nobody gets a picture of the front brace installed by the end of the week, I'll put one up...I should be getting mine in the mail from Springfield, Oregon's finest Toyota dealer *hopefully* tomorrow.
I'd post a photo of the rear brace installed also, but my engine bay is about to undergo a facelift, so it is hella dirty. |

Thanks baktasht! How are your bars selling? Even though they are a competitive product to the TRD bars we're selling, it's cool to see a variety of choices on the market.

They're selling really well. We used to sell the TRD ones too. Just focusing on ours now. Friendly competition is always good. Brings new things to the market.
