Aaron AW11 Custom downpipe/exhaust...
Hey aaron, I for the life of me couldn't find the thread you started (or posted in) regarding a custom exhaust you had been making for the aw11, If you are still making this or would be interested in taking an order (I can pay and wait on the part lol no biggie) please let me know.
If I am crazy lol and you weren't actually selling this/these then just tell me and I will go hide in my corner till my next parts request :P. |

ah ty thats what I was looking for.... thanks muffinman
Aaron is it possible for you to make a fitment for a 16v manifold or would it be better to locate a 20v manifold and use that in place of 16v? My current one is cracked on the 4th pipe as is common so I was thinking of replacing it with a new 16v from you guys. But if the 20v is a better option I will go that route... Any thoughts. |

The simplest solution is to replace the manifold with a new part. I don't have the flanges and pattern to make 16V downpipes, and the 20V header won't fit the 16V without some modification; you have to rework the flange for the two outer bolts, and you need to change to a rear-mounted starter. Neither are difficult but there is some work involved. For a stock or nearly-stock engine, I would stay with a stock manifold.
