Hi, I cannot post to your inquirery about an MR2 in the midwest so I'll try this. I have a 1991, 5spd, NA that is in almost new condition. 91,000 miles, interior is about a 9 out of 10 because of age only and the exterior is about the same. A few small dings but the original paint is all great and shines as if it is brand new. I bought it last year when I was looking for a Mercedes (of all things) and bought it because it was in such good shape. I know the original owner who bought it in 1992 and only used it in the summer. I know that it has never seen snow and only rarely seen rain so there is no rust at all. In the last 10 years or so, he only used it to give his grand kids rides! As you can probably tell, it has never been raced and is completely original. I am 45 yrs old. I really had no intentions of keeping it but it turned out so much fun to drive, that I kept it. I really do want to keep looking for my Mercedes though so that is what is prompting me to sell it. I have been on the boerds since last August or so but have not written anything because there has not been anything that has broken or needed fixing and there still isn't. I would be happy to talk with you about it if you are interested. This, I think, is one of those rare ones that people talk about but never see.
