thats cool. i always wanted to swap mine too becuz them hondas been saying mr2 are slow. how much did u invested into your swap total with engine and all others stuff?

I think it may be some kind of custom tranny mount but i contacted the previous owner and he was nice enough to come look at it this weekend with me. If anyone, he should know since he was the one who did all the mods to the car.

Ay I dont know if you can help me with this but I was driving the other day and a metal bar which seemed to be bolted unto something fell off. Well first if was dragging on the ground so i pulled over to check out what it was and it looked to be a mount or something. This metal bar ran right in the middle section of the car and when it fell off i notice a difference in the shifting and it didnt seem to pull as hard. I dont know what it was but im guessing it was some sort of mount.

yeah the mr2 was diffinitely a car ahead of it's time. i love hondas as well but for the price i dont think any other car can beat the mr2. it's a true sports car and after driving rwd i dont wanna go back to fwd lol. im not too familiar with mr2's yet since i was a honda guy for such a while now. but one things for sure i love mr2's just as much as anyone on these forums. always liked it but thought it wouldnt survive the long minnesota winters so never got around to gettin one. now that i have a beater (civic sedan) i finally got my mr2. lately its been fun tearing up civics and integras that messes with me on the streets though lol. right now i just wanna fix my electrical problems. windows cant roll down, radio and side view mirror doesnt work as well. i love the t-top but the sun is scorching at times so i prefer just to roll down the windows. yeah after i get that fix im thinkin of buying a new front bumper then prep the duece and get it ready for a paint job.

I'm from St. Paul, Minnesota and yeah I use to be a Honda owner sadly lol. Got sick of seeing soo many hondas around town and the thefts so i decided to get out of the honda game and change the scene. I bought a 91' turbo with a gen 3 jdm swapped in already from my brother in law's cousin for $2800. The body has 160k but the engine has just over 70k on it. Compare to my b18 civic coupe that i use to have, the mr2 blows that shit away it hauls ass lol. my duece is not yet complete it still needs some body work and electrical wirings and i might get some new tires for the rear in the near future. i'ma drive this one until it wears out then buy another one lol. ill post some pics up soon.

I saw your post in the forums and notice you were Hmong as well. Nice duece you got though, I just recently bought mine about 4 months ago.
