Yo,.I cant log in at this time,.my name is MR III on the forum.
4 real,.Michael den hartog.
I am Dutch and just finist my 20V swap.
The fact are simple,.if you have a AW11 from '85 till '86 ,the 5 ribs engine,. it has the 0.7 kw starter motor.
This one is not usable and to weak,.it will burn out in a few months,.I know by experience.
The AW11 from '87 till the last had a more hi compression blok with 7 ribs.
That also had a other starter motor with 1.0 kw power and if you have that one its perfect for the 20V.
How to recognise and tell them apart,.the 0.7 kw is big and has a direct drive and the 1.0 is small and has a indirect drive to the flywheel.
Good luck and drive on dude,.
