    Question

I have a 1mzfe engine, 98 lexus es300(auto) ecu w/o immobilizer, non vvt-i with matching harness. Im swapping it into my 91 mr2 with the s54 manual tranny. How would I go upon tricking the ECU to think its a manual. I want to make this as reliable as possible. If your able to give me info I can go from there.

    Thanks,
    Richard

the correct diameter size for a custom made short ram intake. It will be fitting on an 1999 ST202 Celica. On the Beams Redtop of course

Hello, My name is Woody... I am interested in doing an AE111 BlackTop swap into my AW11 MR2... I have found a website that sells a a setup that contains INCLUDED PARTS:

    100% COMPLETE ENGINE
    - Complete Motor
    - Complete Wiring Harness
    - Block
    - Head
    - Intake Manifold
    - Exhaust Manifold
    - Sensors
    - Fuel Rail
    - Injectors
    - Individual Throttle Body
    - Alternator
    - Distributor
    - Starter
    - Ignition Wires
    - Pulleys

    5-Speed Transmission

    Computer(ECU)

What else would i need besides rewiring the harness to plug into mine? I have also seen pics where ppl have had to remove to batt tray... Is that needed or can the air system be routed thru the original 87+ air ducts thru the trunk? Seems like it would get a lil less air (maybe) but it would be cooler air from outside the car instead of hot air from the engine bay? I have been thinking about this swap for a few yrs not but lived in cali where smog was a problem.. I recenly moved to Oklahoma so i no longer have smog to worry about... Please, your help would be greatly apreciated...

    Thanx

    Woody

JDM 4agze into my 88 SC MR2. Would you please please be willing to take a couple of mins to email me the diagrams and what i need to know to make my swap work.

Like yourself at one time I too want to learn how to do it myself instead of paying out the nose for it. I'm just REALLY having a hard time finding the info i need.... i have an uncut JDM harness and ECU along with both US ones uncut as well.
