    Hello Noobie.

Lets see if I can help you.

On the 20 valver. One of the main coolant hose is on the driver's side, bottom and toward the front of the car. Somewhat infront of the rear driver's side tire. There might be an external oil cooler, just remove it. I suspect that piece might be causing some distortion.
Let me know if I can assist you.

The FP is the fuel pump, B+ is battery power. Technically, the B+ might mean battery power when the main switched is activated or Bus power.........

The diagnostic port is a little black box with a flip lid about 1" X 2" wide. Mine was located on the rear "firewall" next to the trunk, about center.

Now some, perhaps many would slag on me for this.....
But U could leave the FP permanantly connected to the B+, the fuel pump will turn off/on with the main ignition switch, but this would bypass the so-called safety systems.

I done two fuel pumps, the second one was so much easier.......

An Ebay fuel pump for about $40 looks/worked as good as a $150 auto parts store version.

Changing a fuel pump is not too bad.

But if U do attempt this, PLEASE use good jackstands, and although I do not often use safety glasses, I recommend them. U will be under the vehicle looking upwards, debris will fall into your eyes!
    Best wishes,
    kerry

Depends...I saw the pictures on the tread an you can see some of the plastic is cracked. He just said the housing needs replacing. If it needs more than that I'd say ask for part of your money back maybe. What on the cluster did you need?
