Hey man, the name's chris. I've read a lot of posts and what not that you've written and I love the intelligence, thought, and planning you've put into 5sfte projects. I too have been seriously toying with and planning a 5sfte build with a couple different 5sfe's i hope to pick up in the near future. I'm a good buddy of Jeff (gairloch) and actually live pretty close to him..he is aware of this large project i want to take on and he mentioned that I should talk to you as you are also planning a build up in the near future but are sticking to N/A for now. I've got a 93 N/A and absolutely love the car and now have aquired a good DD so i can use it as my project car. I've done a lot of research regaurding the build. I have no real power goals...i'm more interested in seeing what i can do with the 5s without going 3s or even 5sgte. I think any engine has potential with the right brains behind it and a good build and thats kinda what i wanna do with it. I've sourced almost everything i need including injectors, forged internals, cams, valves, etc. The only thing I'm still working on is figuring out what kinda brain to use for the monster. I'm aware the smt6 can be used and some are working on getting a greddy emanage system workin properly. Do you know of any others that could potentially work? Hydra EMS? AEM? Is it possible to just use the stock ecu with say something like an aftermarket FPR and a fuel tuner like turboXS's DTEC or apexie's SAFC? We should talk more dude cause i love talkin about custom projects like this that require lots of time, patience, and in some cases money :P. Hope to hear from ya soon man. -Chris
