You indicated your rad fan is not working right?

1. First, off ya gotta confirm they will run. (there's 2)

To do this pulloff the black shroud above the radiator and under the front hood. You will see the electrical lines going to the fans, unplug them, take a battery and run wires from the battery to the tiny metal electrical prongs inside the connector. The fans should run this way if they are not broke, if they do not run when "hot wired" like this they require replacement.

2. Ok, lets assume they run when you "hot wire" 'em. Then we move to the relay(s) and fuses that control them in the front fuse box. Under the front windshield, pull off the black plastic cover at the rear of the front trunk. On the passenger side you'll see the fuse box, check the fuses on the left side, they control these fans, if blown replace them. If they keep blowing you have a short in the wiring.

3. Let's assume the fuses are ok at this point and you know the fans will work. We need to troubleshoot the relays that support the front rad fans. The relay that support the Rad fan is the 2nd from the left in the rear row, it's a tee shaped connector, pull it out. Go to the engine fuse box and pull the same relay out from this location (far left) and plug it in here. If the fan starts then it's a defective relay and you need to buy another of this type.

4. Ditto for the ac fan, it's the far left in the front fuse box (square connector), it's the same as the EFI relay (second from left) in the engine compartment. This should start the ac fan (drivers side fan).

This is about as easy as I can present the procedure with the fix you have on hand, in the car now.

Now if you've done all the above with no fans working you have a wiring short and the fuse may keep blowing, this is more difficult (but not impossible) to locate. PM me at plandcs@aol.com and I'll forward some electrical diagrams to ya'll and we'll run down how and where to "get-'er done".
