Insurance adjuster is putting the screws to me what is my MkI worth?

If anyone is interested in buying my car as is and you pick up

My buy back option. I can buy back my car for the same amount as the highest salvage yard bid.
Once I find out what the highest bid is I will post what I will sell the car for.

I haven't been able to get ahold of this guy for around a week now... maybe it is gone? I've got money in hand and told him so in the message I've sent, but have heard nothing at all yet, so I have no idea what is up with this car. I'm only about an hour or so away too... soooooooooo frustrating

ljshein has first chance at my wrecked MkI

It is not driveable (broken tie rod)

I have been on vacation for a little over a week and I'm not getting any calls from the insurance company on buying back the car

I'll try tomorrow.

There he is!!! Lemme know, I can bring two car's back to life with yours, and dad WILL kill me if I don't get up with you on this thing. He keeps asking every day if I've heard from you. Thanks!

P.S. Doesn't need to drive, we've got a truck and trailer sitting outside and I just moved an 86 last week using the same stuff so no worries on that end. I'm also relatively local so pickup is no problem.

insurance called me last friday and said I could buy my car back for 700. I told them i would get back with them on monday and they said they had to have an answer NOW. I told them I couldn't and they said have a nice day. sorry folks
