Arrow 1989 Supercharged red on black t-tops

Vehicle Price: $3500 obo
Vehicle Odometer: 249,500

1989 Toyota MR2 Supercharged - CLEAN TITLE

SOLD!

Not a swap, it's an original 89 supercharger with the E51 transmission mated to the 4agze engine.
89 LED spoiler and Toyota Aero package (lip, skirts and rear visor)
Power windows/door locks
T-tops and t-tops covers
Black cloth interior

AC compressor has been removed, everything else in tact
Odometer reads 249k miles
Engine and transmission replaced by previous owner in 2000. No documentation in my posession. Vehicle resprayed red (original also red) under previous ownership explaining the lack of Toyota markings.
Oil changes done every 3000 miles at a local Toyota dealer with 5W-30 Toyota motor oil and filter
Gutted trunk intake piping, while leaving the stock air filter box
Everything in the car is operational

Condition:

This car is a daily driver. I put 200 miles on it per week. I have had it for about 2 years. It has served me very well and has never left me stranded. All the maintenance work on it proves it has not been neglected in any way during my ownership. I consistently get 30 miles to the gallon (proof of a healthy engine) on the highway with it while obeying the posted speed limit. It does require premium gasoline, but you get what you pay for. Even though it is in stock form, it has plenty of oomph to get one in trouble. There are plenty of aftermarket pulleys for the crank and the supercharger to give it more juice. It has not been tracked, raced, or autocrossed.

Recent work:

Kirk's Urethane engine mount inserts front and back.
Napa Auto Parts Battery
Goodridge Stainless Steel Brake lines all around.
Blank Napa rotors and EBC green stuff brake pads up front, metalmasters in the rear for better brake bias
Intercooler hoses replaced with Napa heavy duty tractor hose
Clamps on all intercooler hoses
Clutch master and slave cylinder
Speedsource Stainless steel clutch line
Falken Azenis RT-615 in 195/60/14
Toyota Oxygen sensor (4 wire)
Fresh alignment
Complete fluid flush (coolant, transmission, supercharger oil, clutch hydraulics)
Throttle cable and speedometer cable from toyota
E-brake cables from toyota
Speedo gear in transmission from toyota
Thermostat and radiator cap from toyota
Timing belt, supercharger belt, alternator belt and idler pulley
Pioneer Mp3 cd player with remote and detachable faceplate / stock front speakers, new blaupunkt rear speakers
Front engine main seal, cam seals, valve cover seals and washers.
Distributor rebuilt with Kbox rebuild kit
Tuneup - Copper NGK spark plugs, toyota fuel filter, toyota plug wires, toyota distributor cap and rotor, K&N drop in air filter
Python 700 2 way pager alarm
Autopal H4 headlamp conversion DOT approved
Ball joints all around
Front inner and outer tie rods on steering rack.

Pickles:

- chipped passenger side mirror housing
- faded red drivers side mirror (from another mr2)
- small dent in front of passenger side fender
- small tear in front bumper rubber cover by passenger side fender
- no antenna
- no shift boot
- corolla steering wheel instead of original mr2 wheel
- Speedometer needle non-operational (odometer and tripmeter register proper mileage) 3000rpm in 5th gear = 65mph GPS confirmed
- cruise control non-operational but all parts present

Pink slip in hand (CLEAN TITLE). All records from my ownership will come with the car. Registration paid until Nov 20 2008. Will smog the vehicle with a non-refundable deposit guarantee of purchase.
If you're interested in purchasing it email me to setup a time to see it in person. I'll give you a discount if you want to smog it yourself also. It passed just fine in Nov 06 without a tuneup at the time.

CAR HAS BEEN SOLD.

the kbox distributor rebuild kit was just rubber seals ... distributor was leaking.

why never raced, huh?
because when you only have 1 car, you want to make sure it will take you to work every day. If you push a 20 year old car, it WILL break.. heck, if you push a brand new car, it will break as well, but it will take longer.
