86 w/sunroof, running, and an 87 t-top parts car!!
Vehicle Location: Merrimack, NH Vehicle Price: $2000/pair O.B.R.O. Vehicle Odometer: see description One car is a parts car, it has no motor and no trans, it was an automatic, '87 N/A. All the glass is good including theT-TOPS, and the interior is in good shape. Rear bumper is mint, as is the rear light panel (directionals, tail, stop) Rear quarters are in good shape. Doors are in good shape, as is the rear deck lid, and trunk lid. I was going to move the bumper, deck lid, and trunk lid to the other car. I have already moved the front hood, and chopped up the drivers side front fender in order to repair the running car. I have the junk transmission that came out of the car, maybe it has parts in/on it that someone can use. I also have the old engine out of the running car. Block is good, head/cams looked tired, but the valves are still good to my knowledge.
The running car ('86 N/A, 5spd, SUNROOF) is in need of a few things to go on the road. The O2 sensor needs to be reconnected, the clutch hydraulics need to be bled, and some body trim needs to be bolted back on, as does the deck lid and trunk lid. The motor runs on the good car, but has a valve knock that I believe is caused by a bent valve. Motor was running perfect when it was in the parts car, but while changing the timing belt my friend started to rotate the cams independent of one another before I could stop him, and now it has a knock when decelerating from higher to lower rpm's. The car has a new Zoom Performance clutch, the flywheel was turned, new timing belt, new tune up, new O2 sensor, new clutch slave, new passenger rear brake cable. Brand new H rated Hankook performance tires on the teardrop style factory aluminum rims. The body is in 90% condition with some pinholes in the trunk, and one rot hole on the main body, but I already started to cut that piece off of the parts car. It will need to be welded into the car due to the location of the damage, but all in all the car is in good shape. Car has new motor and transmission mounts. The transmission is a 5 speed, I changed the input shaft seal, and both output shaft seals when the clutch was done, and converted the trans to synthetic oil. I would love to keep the car but I don't have any time to work on it anymore and the landlord wants it gone if I'm not fixing it. If you're interested I would strongly recommend that you come take a look at the cars, I will entertain any reasonable offers, I would like to recover at least some of the money I have invested. The vehicles are located in Merrimack, NH. You can call my cell to arrange to see the cars. 603-493-7815. Any other questions feel free to PM me or call. Brad |
