Clean and well maintained 89/SC. I purchased this car from a Texas salvage auction 3 years ago. It was in a light hit to the left frnt fender.left door and rear quarter. The hood fender and left door were replaced and the rear quarter was repaired and painted by one of the best shops around. Hence the salvage title.So those of you that cant get past a salvage title read no further. If however you are looking for a fun fast and unmolested (stock) MK1 this is your car. All lights controls heat air gauges work and the car has no oil leaks. It still has the r-12 and blows ice cold . The interior is good shape with no burns or tears. I even have the color match bags for the t-tops to store them while you drive. Transaxle and motor have full synthetic Mobil 1. The blower has been serviced as well. I have owned this car and driven it on a regular basis (not daily) The only thing on this car that dose not function is the cruse control.
