Vehicle Location: 1987 Toyota MR2 "Red Rocket" Vehicle Price: 3500 Vehicle Odometer: 193xxx Well, another great find! We just recently received this from a police/tow yard auction.
We had seen the car out of the corner of our eyes because it was looking soo sweeeet sitting there calling our name, and saying buy me buy me! Well, here is the story of the "Little Red Rocket". We will tell you as much as WE KNOW about it! This Toyota 1987 MR2 has a 4-Cyl motor, with a 5-Speed manual trans, this little sports coupe is red as you can see by the pictures, it runs really well, and skoots pretty good also. This car has A/C also, but might need a charge????? The Clutch seems fine, Trans seems good, engine seems good. Steering seems tight, doors open and close fine, goes reverse fine, sunroof opens good, seems like all of the lights and blinkers work also. There is a tag on the motor that says "timing belt work" 173xxx, or something like that. So i would think it has been replaced. The last owner must of taken care of this little "Red Rocket" pretty well. They also have a few manuals in the trunk for this car, and seems like all of the original tools are with it also. The Interior is in need of some very minor cleaning, and the seats are in decent shape with some wear on them. Also, I noticed that the sunroof cover for inside of the car is there also (see picture), which in my mind would tell me that they loved this car to not misplace that, or even still have it. The stereo seems like a really nice one, but it is missing the face plate, looks like a Kenwood newer model because it has a Ipod thingy next to the drivers seat, so maybe find the correct faceplate on eBay for under $20.00? The front of the car has the spare tire and tire cover, WOW! The jack is there, and all of the plastic stuff also. The car also has the Toyota rear visor over the back window (see picture), I think it kind of looks cool! Body, well, there is one small rust spot on the passengers fender (see picture), and there is a minor scrape on the right rear quarter panel which is not that bad either (have those paintless dent guys fix it, they do wonders!). The paint is not really messed up, it just needs a good o' waxin, and maybe a full detail would make this little "Red Rocket" come back to life! I would keep it, but my wife and I have 3 kids and can't and don't have a use for this car (for now, till they move out :0)). Well, I think and Hope I covered all of the bases and if you have ANY QUESTIONS please email me! Car is SOLD AS-IS WHERE IS! LIEN SALE TITLE, WITH BACK REGI OF 1-YEAR I THINK (not bad, cheap to register this car). PM me for more info, or MAKE OFFER! |

That's not stereo-typical at all.
